Brown Deer Middle School (BDMS) serves approximately 350 students in grades 6 through 8. The size of our school provides an intimate setting in a family-oriented environment. Classes are structured to optimize academic growth as well as explore a variety of topics and trades. In addition to a rigorous academic program, students are provided with numerous opportunities to participate in activities and athletics throughout the school year.
At BDMS we are grounded in our District Mission:
Together with our families and community, we will inspire students to be passionate learners, creative thinkers and innovative leaders who enrich our world.
Boasting one of the most diverse populations in Wisconsin, Brown Deer is home to families representing a variety of racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. BDMS exemplifies the ideals of diversity and inclusion as we prepare students for success in a global community. Additionally, at BDMS we provide our students with the unique needs that young teens require. We want our students to work and grow each day of each year so that when he or she completes eighth grade, each individual is equipped to take on the bigger, wider world while preparing for future college and career success.
If we had hashtags to describe our school, they would be #workhardplayhard #strongertogether #loveourpeople
Thank you for choosing BDMS. We look forward to partnering with you on behalf of your scholar.
